Tom is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional, an Investment Adviser Representative, and a FINRA Series 7 and 66 registered representative with Commonwealth Financial Network®. Tom joined Commonwealth in 2015 and has 20 years of experience as a financial planner. He earned his BS in metallurgy and materials science from Lehigh University in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania.
Tom's professional focus is on long-term financial planning for individuals, including management of risk and liability concerns. Tom specializes in developing retirement plans for individuals and business owners preparing for retirement and on distribution and income management for active retirees. His practice also includes developing and maintaining retirement plans for small businesses.
Tom is a member of the Rotary Club of Gloucester, Mass., where he serves on the board as well as on the board of the Gloucester Rotary Foundation. A lifelong racing sailor, Tom is active in the Rhodes 19 class and is fleet captain of the class at the Sandy Bay Yacht Club in Rockport, Mass.
Tom’s hobbies include woodworking, crossword puzzling and gardening, especially with rhododendrons. He has competed regularly in the American Crossword Puzzle Tournament, the nation’s oldest and largest crossword competition.
Tom and his wife, Anita, are the parents of four sons and have two grandsons.
